The ETA 02 Convertible is a time machine version of the BMW 135i

If the BMW 1 Series Convertible is too modern for your liking, consider this alternative proposed by German coachbuilder Everytimer Automobile. The ETA 02 Convertible looks like a genuine classic and sports a full carbon-fiber body.

To create it, Eveytimer first strips the BMW 135i of its entire bodywork and then replaces it with carbon panels of its own making.

In the process, the car gains round headlights and taillights for that special retro vibe, as well as a classic “kidney grille” and a custom wheel set. The exhaust system and the trunk follow the same design philosophy, of course.

The result is a convertible that looks like a genuine BMW production car from the 1970s! Isn’t it exciting?

The engine bay of the ETA 02 Convertible is still occupied by the stock 3.0-liter, twin-turbo inline-six engine rated at 302 hp / 226 kW. It takes around five seconds for the car to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph), and the top speed is limited at 250 km/h (155 mph).

Everytimer Automobile wants ca. €70,000 for the conversion.
