Red Chevrolet Corvette Z06 puts on 20” Strasse Wheels

The current-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (С7) has been around since January 2013, but it still manages to come across as extremely fashionable, mostly owing to its bold and aggressive exterior. Some even believe that the American sports car drives ahead of the latest Ferrari models in terms of pure style. It is therefore not surprising at all that Strasse Wheels picked one of these to showcase its new wheel set.

The Corvette C7 gained a set of five-spoke wheels with a black finish (19” front, 20” rear). The glossy rims and spokes echo the black roof and hood power dome of the car, and create a compelling contrast against its Torch Red body.

In the meantime, Chevrolet is toiling to bring its next-gen Corvette – the C8 – out on the market. Its appearance and tech specs remain unknown, but it stands to reason that it should be better than its predecessor – a particularly challenging feat to achieve, considering that the current Z06 already packs a 6.2-liter supercharged engine with 650 hp (485 kW).
