Nissan unveils the GT-R Anniversary Edition

To celebrate 50 years of the Nissan GT-R, the car manufacturer has designed and produced a special series of the popular supercar. The GT-R Anniversary Edition sports a custom livery that references the legendary Skyline GT-R R34 along with other GP Series racecars.

By default, the limited edition comes painted Bayside (Wangan) Blue with sporty white pinstripes added for contrast. Customers may still opt for two other versions: Silver + White and Pearl White + Red.

The interior of the sports car is mostly neutral grey, with Alcantara covering the entire ceiling, the gear selector, and the sun visors.

The Nissan GT-R Anniversary Edition got to keep its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine capable of 573 hp (427 kW) and 633 Nm (467 lbft) of torque. That said, the engineer team equipped it with new, optimized turbochargers to make that maximum torque available sooner. They also made a series of tweaks and adjustments in the transmission.

The limited series also features redesigned suspension and steering, power-assisted braking, a titanium exhaust system, and custom exhaust tips with that popular “blue-burnt” look.
