Acid Green meets Gold: This bespoke Porsche 911 GT3 may look odd, but it has its charms
If you have looked through the photo gallery and now feel like accusing the owner of this Porsche 911 GT3 of having no taste altogether, go ahead. We aren’t holding you. Combining acid green car body with dull-gold wheels takes some daring and imagination. But take a longer look, absorb the fine details, and you will see why we are calling it a successful design.
Granted, much of the allure comes in the form of ADV5.0 Track Spec CS Series forged rims designed and manufactured by ADV.1 Wheels. The exposed hardware and the sleek dual-five-spoke design lend the wheels a refined appearance. The set measures 20 inches in diameter, but looks larger and at the same time airy and lightweight due to the discreet black rims.
In the same counterintuitive fashion, the yellow brake calipers also manage to fit in somehow, despite the lack of any other parts of that exact color. Finally yet importantly, the shrill body paint (wrap?) is offset by numerous black accents such as the front grille, the headlights, the air intakes, and the cabin.
Not really all that bad now, wouldn’t you say?
