Would you like your truck fitted with this €6,200 bicycle rack?

A few days ago, Pickup Design came out with yet another custom take on the excellent Mercedes X-Class (W470). The German pickup truck gained custom wheels, a body kit and a ludicrously expensive power-assisted bike rack.

The tuner gave this particular X-Class the Exy Urban treatment. It also replaced the standard wheels with fancy forged rims reminiscent of ABT Sportsline’s “Aero Ring” design.

That said, the true highlight of the build naturally comes in the form of the brand-new StyleRack bike holder, which packs a whopping €6,200 price tag. The attachment consists of three Thule ProRide 598 bicycle racks and a platform that you can lower automatically with a push of a button. The latter function should only be available when the truck bed is near-empty, though.

Judging by the “30 Special Edition” on the car body, Pickup Design has a limited series in the works based on this Mercedes X-Class. But the question is: would you buy one?
