VW Touareg ONE Million gets unique trim, costs €80,880+

The 1,000,000th Volkswagen Touareg SUV just rolled off the VW assembly line in Bratislava, Slovakia. To celebrate the landmark, the company has announced a special series titled ‘ONE Million’.

Each Touareg ONE Million ships in the same Sechura Beige color, but customers can select between two original wheel sets (20” Bogota, glossy finish and 21” Suzuka). There are special edition logos outside and inside the car, as well as new fender flares and rear diffuser.

Crack open the door, and you will see the cabin trimmed with Puglia, which apparently stands for ‘fine Italian leather coated with olive leaf extract’. The door panels and the upper seats sport a classical diamond stitching pattern.

The series comes powered by the standard six-cylinder diesel engine with three liters of displacement and 286 hp (213 kW), 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque under its command. The drivetrain uses an 8-G automatic transmission to send the torque to all four wheels.

The 2020 Touareg ONE Million series starts at €80,880 in Europe, which represents a €22,265 premium over the base model.
