Delta4x4 turns Mercedes-Benz X-Class into an all-roader

Even in its factory guise, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is quite a capable pickup truck when it comes to braving the wilderness. Imagine what this custom build by delta4x4, based on a Mercedes-Benz X350 D 4Matic, can do.

The car comes equipped with a three-liter diesel V6 rated at 258 hp (192 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. Despite the fact that the X-Class is technically similar to the Nissan Navara, it boasts an in-house designed engine.

The tuner increases the road clearance from 202 to 222 millimeters (7.9 to 8.7 inches) and installs a roll cage onto the truck bed. Other notable features include a redesigned front bumper with a bull bar, fender flares, and custom wheels (available in sizes ranging between 17 and 23 inches). There is also a LED panel on the roof.

This is not the first time we are seeing a modded X-Class truck, and more will likely come. On the other hand, Mercedes is considering putting the expensive model out of production due to insufficient demand. If it happens, we won’t see it re-released with the company’s signature 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which is a pity.
