2020 KIA Mohave is a spitting image of the Masterpiece Concept

South Korean car manufacturer KIA Motors debuted its Masterpiece Concept in Seoul this spring. Today, it unveiled the facelifted 2020 KIA Mohave, which is closely based on the aforementioned concept.

The Mohave has been present on the market for 11 long years, and this mid-generational refresh is its most extensive one so far. In fact, the company has reworked its entire rear and middle body up to the a-pillars.

On the other hand, the differences from the Masterpiece Concept are few and far between. There is a new radiator grille, slightly retouched anti-fog lights, and side mirrors that are no longer painted silver. Aside from these three points, the two cars are identical.

The 2020 facelift will ship with the same old 3.0-liter, six-cylinder diesel engine good for 260 hp (195 kW) and 507 Nm (375 pound-feet) of torque. The transmission is eight-speed automatic. The interior has not been revealed yet, but an updated infotainment center and new safety features are almost guaranteed.
