Aston Martin wants to turn garage building into an art form

Aston Martin has issued a press release stating it will soon pioneer an entirely new market. Together with its Q by Aston Martin department, the luxury carmaker will build bespoke showrooms, galleries and garages for its own vehicles. Depending on the customers’ individual appetites, projects will range from a single modest-sized garage to a whole museum.

The service, which is called Automotive Galleries and Lairs, is not limited to designing standalone garages. The company says it will even go as far as to erect an entire residential block or a commercial estate complex with the car parking area dwarfed by the enormity of the project. Provided the funding is adequate, of course.

To illustrate the point, Aston Martin demonstrated several early sketches of such spaces for its Valhalla and DB5 models. You will probably agree that these look like something straight out of a fantasy movie. The round aquarium-like structure with the car encapsulated inside and the parking lot located under a swimming pool with transparent bottom are our favorites so far. And what do you think?
