Mansory says goodbye to gas-powered Smart ForTwo with extra refinement and power

Car tuner Mansory has unveiled a range of options for the Smart ForTwo urban car family. The soon-to-be-discontinued gasoline-powered series gets new looks along with a whopping 40% of extra engine power.

The offer includes new bumpers, wheel arch extensions, a front grille with vertical fins, custom side skirts, and an exhaust system. Also on the list are 18-inch forged wheels and numerous carbon parts, such as the side mirror caps, the hood, the air intake bezels, the spoiler and the rear diffuser. The open-top Cabrio variant of the ForTwo also gets a similar-looking, if somewhat understated, kit.

Inside, there is an abundance of light-hued genuine leather covering the doors, seats, gear selector, dashboard, steering wheel, and floor mats. Black stitching is used for contrast.

The stock(-y) 0.9-liter turbocharged gasoline engine gets a substantial power boost via chip tuning, resulting in a surge from 90 hp (67 kW) and 135 Nm (100 pound-feet) of torque to 125 hp (93 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft).

Mansory says nothing about the costs involved or the planned production quantities, so feel free to contact them personally.
