Posaidon pushes the Mercedes-AMG GT to 830+ hp

German tuner Posaidon has unveiled a performance upgrade for the opulent Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe 4Matic+. The numbers are quite impressive!

In its sfactory guise, the four-door coupe-shaped flagship (X 290) delivers up to 639 hp (477 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels by means of a potent 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8, an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission and 4Matic+ AWD system. The sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) lasts only 3.4 seconds, and the top speed sits at the 315 km/h (195 mph) mark.

Once overhauled by Posaidon, the engine output goes up to 830 hp (620 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque, reducing the sprint time to a breezy 2.9 seconds and lifting the max speed into 350 km/h (217 mph) territory. Included in the Posaidon GT RS 830 package are new turbochargers, a revised cool air intake system, a sports air filter, downpipes with catalysts, and an extensive ECU mod.

This is not all, though. Those wishing to squeeze every last bit of power from their car may opt for the RS 830+ kit, which promises nearly as much as 880 hp (656 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft). The exterior and cabin remain mostly stock, as is traditional with Posaidon.
