Rolls-Royce Can Fail, Too: 454 Cullinans get recalled over alleged subpar taillight design

A total of 454 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs manufactured between December 2018 and July 2019 in the United States are now being recalled because their taillights might be too dim.

The luxury carmaker states that the headlights in this production batch may be deficient in terms of brightness. In theory, this might lead to road accidents if drivers following these cars fail to notice the brake lights in time.

That said, no such incidents have been reported to date. Nonetheless, the luxury marque cannot afford to risk its reputation and therefore proposes all affected Cullinan owners free diagnostics and replacement of their problematic taillights.

Interestingly, whether any cars will be revoked in other countries as well as the USA depends on their respective road safety requirements.
