Lamborghini awards Best in Show to its first production coupe

Lamborghini has announced the winner of its Polo Storico Concours d’Elegance. The Best in Show title went to the Lamborghini 350 GT, the Italian marque’s first production vehicle.

The company started designing the model in the summer of 1963 and officially unveiled it during the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland in 1964. A total of 120 units were produced, originally boasting a three-seat layout (2+1), but later switching to a two-seat configuration with a luggage shelf in the back.

35 Lamborghini supercars assembled between 1964 and 1991 took part in this year’s Concours d’Elegance. Further highlights included a 1971 Miura P400 S and a 1987 LM002, among many others.
