Dodge Ram Rebel TRX gets 707hp Hellcat V8 a year earlier than expected

As you probably know, Dodge has yielded to the pleas of fans asking for the Dodge Ram Rebel TRX Concept to become a mass-produced model. The pickup truck will go on sale in late 2020 or early 2021 packing a gorgeous 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 under the hood. However, patience is an art not everyone can master.

Charles, who owns this 2019 Dodge Ram, felt like speeding things along by taking them in his own hands. He cut out the standard 5.7-liter HEMI V8 and put the 707hp (527kW) Hellcat V8 in its place. He called the end result ‘RebHELL’.

Aside from the engine swap, the truck boasts a Fiberwerx widebody kit, 18-inch Method 305 wheels with a matte-gold finish, Nitto Ridge Grappler 37” tires and numerous other nice features. To upgrade the exhaust system, Charles sourced components from a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk; to upgrade the air intake route, he used the original parts dismantled from a Challenger SRT Demon.

Quite impressive as tuning goes, wouldn’t you say?
