ABT Sportsline unleashes options for the Audi S5 Sportback & Coupe

Good news for all owners of the Audi S5 Sportback and Coupe: ABT Sportsline has released a whole range of new options for the model. Care for a closer look?

As you know, the post-facelift version of the S5 comes packing a rather unusual six-cylinder diesel engine (turbo and supercharged at once). On the plus side, it delivers up to 347 hp (259 kW) along with 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) to the wheels.

The aftermarket company offers a chip tune called the ABT Engine Control (AEC), which raises these figures to 384 hp (286 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft). This enables the S5 to outperform the RS5 flagship by a whopping 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of engine torque. Unfortunately, the standard sprint time is only marginally affected by this (4.7 s, down from 4.9 s).

Also in stock are new 20-inch ABT Sport GR that the tuner suggests installing alongside the in-house designed coilovers for a lower ride height (-15…-40 mm, or -0.6…-1.6 inches). A variety of older models is available as well in 19- and 20-inch versions.

Front and rear spoilers, step backlighting and logos wrap up the list of exterior options. As for the cabin, ABT will implement almost any kind of makeover there according to your own project.
