Lamborghini Urus dons a rescue team suit

An unusual Urus modification has recently been spotted next to the Nürburgring painted yellow and black with the ‘Rescue Car’ inscription on both sides. According to media sources, Lamborghini should be using it either as a pace car in its Urus ST-X single-make racing series, or as a test mule for new tech.

Aside from the unique ‘war paint’, the Italian SUV comes equipped with auxiliary rear view mirrors with in-built anti-fog lights, a bull bar with a winch, a roof rack, and a spare wheel. The wheels measure 21 inches across, and the tires look like normal highway rubber.

The drivetrain specs aren’t available, but the standard Lamborghini Urus comes powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 650 hp (485 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. The top speed amounts to the class-leading 305 km/h (189.5 mph), and the standard sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of 3.6 seconds.
