The Ferrari Roma key fob is not what we’d expect to see

The recently revealed Ferrari Roma coupe has a rather unusual key fob design, based on this leaked Twitter image.

There is the Ferrari logo and the Italian flag on one side, and only two buttons for locking and unlocking the doors on the other, leather-trimmed side. The automaker doesn’t go into any detail on this so far, but mentions that the Roma will feature ‘a comfortable access system that will eliminate the need to press buttons.’

Just as its name suggests, the Ferrari Roma is an homage to Italy and its capital city of Rome. As such, it comes heavily stylized to match the architectural and cultural spirit of that city. Powering the coupe is a turbocharged V8 engine rated at 620 PS (610 hp, 455 kW), which takes it from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.3 s. The prices are not announced yet, but should begin in the €200,000 range.
