Honda launches rebadged CR-V in China, calls it Breeze

The car is technically identical to the internationally sold CR-V, but boasts a drastically different exterior design, especially evident in the radiator grille, lighting, and front bumper.

The cabin trim is pretty rich by China standards, with such highlights as several selectable finish schemes, a multi-function steering wheel, a digital dashboard, and a touch-sensitive infotainment panel. There are two airbags in the standard version, but opting for a higher trim level raises their number up to eight.

The Honda Breeze comes powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine rated at 195 hp (145 kW). A five-speed manual transmission or a CVT can be used to deliver the torque to the wheels. As an alternative, you can consider the Breeze Hybrid, which comes powered by a 2.0-liter non-turbo mill assisted by dual electric motors. This one produces 215 hp (160 kW).
