Range Rover UK announces the Velar R-Dynamic Black Limited Edition

The production run will be kept down to 500 units priced starting from £56,995.

The series will be based on the D180 R-Dynamic SE trim popular in Great Britain, and will get more standard equipment alongside revised looks (no exterior chrome, for one).

The R-Dynamic Black specification includes electronically controlled shock absorbers, tinted rear windows, a panoramic glass roof, and 21-inch glossy black wheels.

Customers will be able to choose between Santorini Black and Eiger Grey for the paintjob, but the cabin will stay black in both versions.

The SUV comes powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine rated at 180 hp (134 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque, transmitted to the wheels by means of an eight-speed auto.
