Varis unveils two badass Supra kits at the TAS 2020

The A90 Toyota Supra continues basking in tuner attention throughout the entire world. Just yesterday, we showed you an unexpectedly elegant take on it by TOM’s; today, let’s throw a glance at a rather more extreme body kit by Varis.

The Japanese customizer came to the recently concluded Tokyo Auto Salon 2020 with seven tuner cars, including two Supras. One of these arrived sporting a white paintjob and Arising I body kit, while the other one wore black and had the formidable Supreme Widebody armor on. Let us focus on the latter.

The Varis Supreme Widebody Toyota Supra boasts a massive front spoiler that ensures a smooth transition to the enormous six-piece wheel arches. The arches themselves are a whopping 85 mm (3.3 inches) wider than stock and feature air vents for efficient brake cooling. The hood cover and the side skirts are manufactured from lightweight carbon fiber.

The rear end is no less impressive. Being 140 mm (5.5 inches) wider than stock, it houses a giant glossy black diffuser with as many as six fins, a GT4-style rear wing, and new exhaust tips. The trunk lid is also custom, and weighs in at 2.6 kilograms (5.7 lbs) under the stock counterpart even with the wing included.

Both show cars have Recaro bucket seats inside, but the interiors mainly stay stock aside from that.
