Spied: Volkswagen ID.4 in near-production state

Judging by these non-camouflaged spy shots, the all-electric Volkswagen ID.4 SUV is almost ready to ship. The premiere will take place at the NIYAS 2020 show in New York.

The new pics provide a good glimpse at the fake radiator grille and the chrome strip at the front that accentuates the headlights.

Unofficial sources claim that the ID.4 has a spacious cabin – even more so than the Tiguan, in fact. As for the specs, it is known that the car boasts dual electric motors jointly rated at 302 hp (150 kW). Plugged into an 83-kWh battery, they will power the SUV for around 400 kilometers (250 miles).
