BMW teases the Concept i4

The EV prototype depicted here is going to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next week and ultimately enter the market to become the rival of the Tesla Model 3.

Based on the pics, the car is mostly inspired by the i Vision Dynamics Concept BMW showed us at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The car will boast an eDrive powertrain of the fifth generation, rated at 530 hp (395 kW) and ensuring 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in under four seconds. The top going speed will be capped at 200 km/h (124 mph). An 80kWh battery will give it up to 600 kilometers (373 miles) of range, and a 150kW charging station will replenish 80% of the charge within 35 minutes.

The BMW i4 will enter production in Munich, Germany in 2021.
