Battery-powered Mercedes-Benz EQC gets Maybach treatment

German tuner Hofele Design has unveiled what it calls the HEQC, a luxury electric SUV with Maybach styling and the stock EQC at the core.

The kit includes a radiator grille with vertical fins, multi-spoke wheels wrapped in low-profile tires, and a faux diffuser at the rear end.

The cabin comes trimmed with Alcantara and red leather that now extend as far as the dashboard, the doors, the center tunnel, and even the ceiling. The running boards also boast new styling.

The powertrain probably stays stock, which in the case of the Mercedes-Benz EQC means dual electric motors jointly rated at 408 hp (304 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque. Getting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 5.1 seconds.

Hofele Design never publicly announced the price of the kit.
