Porsche quietly celebrates 3 iconic car anniversaries

The coronavirus outbreak has forced many manufacturers and vendors involved in the automotive industry to stay indoors and move their announcements and premieres to the Internet. Porsche had three major dates to celebrate this year, but limited itself to filming a single BTS video in the end.

Part of it is dedicated to the 918 Spyder Hybrid that came out ten years ago. Another part says happy birthday to the 991 Turbo (993) – the last air-cooled 911 on record – which turns 25 this year. The final part is dedicated to the hill-climbing Porsche 718 RS 60, which turns sixty in 2020.

The footage focuses on an official photo shoot in the Porsche Museum, which likely replaces the originally planned triple celebration for good.
