Kaege finishes another phenomenal Porsche 911 (993) restomod

Germany-based auto restoration shop Kaege Automobile GmbH has completed its newest masterpiece: a Porsche 911 Carrera (993) now called Kaege Retro Classic No 08 “The Joker”.

The team obviously attempted to stylize the car after the legendary Porsche 911 F, but the largely different body dimensions of the 993 Carrera prevented making a precise copy. In the end, Kaege went for partial stylization and fitted the ride with plenty of modern components, such as LED-based headlights and daytime running lights, sporty brakes, new suspension etc.

The stock opposite-six mill also gained a few improvements, such as the carbon-fiber air intake system. As a result, its output rose from 272 hp (203 kW) to 300+ hp (225+ kW), which has to translate into excellent acceleration dynamics given its low curb weight.

Wrapping things up, the tuner completely re-trims The Joker’s cabin with fine leather and carbon fiber, adding bucket seats.

Watch the video where William Lai, from Hong Kong, tells about his unique ride and how he enjoys driving it on a daily basis.
