Nissan Magnite makes a surprise video appearance

Nissan has released a video teaser briefly showing its new car lineup, including the Magnite SUV that should debut in the second half of the year and become the marque’s most affordable crossover model.

The modest-sized car will mainly be exported to Latin American and Southern Asian markets. It will retail under Datsun branding in Thailand and India, and mostly ship with the 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 72 hp (54 kW). Customers will get to decide between five-speed manual and CVT.
