Chevrolet Colorado gets turned into a fiery-tempered monster

We all know how fond Americans are of building custom trucks prepared for the worst off-road conditions. Even so, it’s not every day that you chance upon a truck with its suspension struts so large they perforate its cargo bed and hood cover!

The project goes by the name of “Colorado Kymera Chevy”, and South Carolina-based tuner Fab Fours claims responsibility for it. Aside from the abovementioned Fox struts, the pickup boasts military-grade axles, humongous all-terrain tires, and a copper-tinted roll cage that mimics the outlines of a mythical fiend’s head. In fact, there’s precious little Colorado left in the build aside from the body – most other components originate from the Rock Crawler, the Desert Pre-Runner, and the Trail Machine.

The Kymera comes powered by Dodge Ram’s Cummins turbo diesel tucked in behind the cab and boosted by means of two high-end turbochargers. The setup delivers around 650 hp (485 kW) to the wheels, and the torque resides far north of 1,000 Nm (750 lb-ft).

Be sure to watch the video, don’t miss out on this one!
