Peugeot e-Traveller underway to Europe launch later this year

Peugeot has officially unveiled the all-electric version of its Traveller/Expert van. The battery car will populate the showrooms throughout Europe in the second half of 2020.

The van utilizes the EMP2 architecture and comes equipped with a 100-kW (135hp) electric engine capable of 250 Nm (183 lb-ft) of torque. Its 50-kWh traction battery gives it up to 230 kilometers (143 miles) of WLTP-rated range, and topping up the charge takes only 30 minutes as long as a high-power charging station is used.

Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) is a matter of roughly thirteen seconds, and the speed limit resides at 130 km/h (81 mph). Different e-Traveler/e-Expert configurations exist offering anywhere between 2 and 8 passenger seats and between 1,500 and 4,900 liters of cargo capacity (53 – 173 cubic feet).

The Peugeot e-Traveller comes equipped with a modern infotainment system, heated front seats, anti-skid system, standby heating, and air conditioner.

Prices are pending.
