Wheelsandmore unleashes the 1,000-HP Audi RS Q8 Goliath

The Wheelsandmore team successfully boosted the 4.0-liter V8 TT engine of the latest Audi RS6 to over 1,000 hp (745 kW) some time ago, and today, the Goliath upgrade becomes available for the RS Q8.

The Stage 1 kit costs €2,100 and boils down to a simple chip tune. Once applied, it takes the RS Q8 to 710 hp (530 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The same tune plus exhaust system modifications will set you back €7,688, but the output will rise to 725 hp (541 kW) and 930 Nm (686 lb-ft).

Throw in a new air intake system, and you get Stage 3, which costs €12,521 and yields 786 hp (586 kW) along with 1,060 Nm (782 lb-ft) of torque. Adding high-end turbochargers kicks the price all the way up to €33,529, but the resulting 965 hp (720 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) are well worth it for high-end tuning enthusiasts.

Finally, the range-topping Goliath kit introduces a racing-grade exhaust system for 1,010 hp (753 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft). It costs €41,933 and is only available in select countries; Germany, for one, bans it from public road use over environmental concerns. The previous 965hp package is still allowed there, though.

The Audi RS Q8 is no slouch in its stock guise, either, churning out healthy 600 hp (447 kW) alongside with 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.

Wheelsandmore does not provide fully detailed sprint times right now, only saying that the Stage 1 reduces the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time from 3.8 to 3.6 seconds. The Stage 3 is required to hit the maximum speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).

Also on offer are 24-inch G-Logic wheels worth €7,309, Vredestein tires measuring 295/30 R24 (front) and 355/25 R24 (rear), and the LowMaXX air-ride control module priced at €1,680.
