Karma Revero GT Hybrid goes faster with two new option packs

Karma Automotive has prepared two upgrade packages for its Revero GT model, improving upon both its style and acceleration dynamics.

The Sports package includes a Borrego Black paintjob, chrome and carbon-fiber exterior trim, 22-inch Dune Twist Midnight Chrome wheels, red brake calipers, monochrome Karma badges, and carbon fiber elements for the interior.

The biggest improvement comes in the form of assorted powertrain tweaks, enabling the hybrid sports car to zap 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 3.9 seconds instead of the usual 4.5 s. This puts it on par with the range-topping Revero GTS unveiled at the LA Auto Show last fall. The GTS might still be ahead with its 380 miles (612 km) of range compared to the 360 miles (580 km) of the GT, but both are limited to 80 miles (130 km) when going all-electric anyway.

The second pack is called Performance and is identical to the Sports pack minus all the aesthetic changes.
