Ford Mustang Unicorn dials ‘custom’ up to 11

Let us be frank: when Instagram user m86_unicorn began modding his Ford Mustang Convertible a year or so ago, we dismissed it as yet another boring custom build. We were all kinds of wrong.

Just how much money went into this particular Mustang is a good question, but it seems like the car itself cost less than the mods. Count for yourself: there’s the full Clinched carbon-fiber kit with extreme fender flares, an RTR front grille, a Vis Carbon hood cover, and an AirLift Performance suspension kit. The pony rides on BC Forged Wheels and boasts a full-body wrap in Chrome Blue with two white stripes running head to tail.

The cabin is relatively tame, although the rare custom touches are well conceived and tasteful. Things get wild under the hood, where a new supercharger kit forced the stock engine to produce north of 700 horsepower (522 kilowatts). This alone makes this particular Mustang Convertible faster than the Ford F-150!

A bespoke automatic roof called Clinched Spider Top rounds off the project, essentially turning the car into a stylish speedster.
