Video: Listen to the Ford Bronco engine in action

Ford keeps teasing us with pics and short clips of its revived Bronco model now scheduled to debut on July 13, 2020.

The footage shows various picturesque landscapes with what sounds like a V6 engine humming in the background. Just what kind of engine the new Bronco will ship with remains unannounced, and media have different opinions. One theory states it may be a non-turbo 3.3-liter V6 rated at 290 hp (216 kW). Another says a 2.7-liter V6 turbo with 325 hp (242 kW) seems likely, and another yet claims the Bronco might get a high-end Raptor spec armed with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine churning 375 hp (280 kW).

One final bit of conjecture says the compact SUV lineup may open with the familiar 2.3-liter EcoBoost mill capable of 270 hp (200 kW). We won’t know for sure until July 13, though.
