Kia Carnival cabin pic leaks ahead of premiere

The person who made this photo claims it shows the interior of the upcoming 2021 Kia Carnival MPV. Let’s have a closer look, shall we?

One of the interesting details is the Sorento-style steering wheel – we had suspected that the new Carnival was based on the Sorento SUV platform, but had no official confirmation. Then there is a large digital dashboard united with the multimedia screen. The gear lever stays the same, though.

Kia never mentioned the engine the 2021 Carnival would ship with, but the 2.2-liter turbo diesel and the 2.5-liter T-GDI seem like the likeliest candidates.

Sales will launch in South Korea in the third quarter of 2020, followed by an international release some time later.
