Watch an elderly BMW Cabrio get some paint therapy

This recent YouTube video shows us how you can restore a 1994 BMW E36 exterior to the point when it is impossible to tell if the car isn’t brand new.

The technician starts off by washing the dark green car thoroughly and preparing it for paint correction. The polishing takes quite a while, but in the end, the 26-year old icon shines like something that just rolled off the assembly line.

An earlier video demonstrated a similar repainting approach used on an old Porsche 944. The team has managed to squeeze the entire job in 48 hours, even though they had to tear the sports car down almost to the last screw.
