Check out one of the world’s most capable Hummer H1 off-roaders

Mil-Spec Automotive has taken the wraps off a special edition of the iconic Hummer H1. The car comes powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbo diesel and should please those of us who did not like the American brand switching to hybrid and electric powertrains.

The enormous truck packs 500 hp (373 kW) under the hood and exerts north of 1,350 Nm (1,000 lb-ft) of torque. The tuner admits that the engine guzzles diesel like beer and installs a 120-liter (32-gallon) tank to compensate for it.

The body comes coated with Deep Sky Black polyurethane for protection and uses Kevlar inserts along with black powder-sprayed details.
