Honda refreshes the WR-V, its smallest and cheapest CUV for India

The 2021 Honda WR-V sports LED lighting all around (tinting is optional), a new radiator grille, a redesigned front bumper and 16-inch wheels.

On the inside, the crossover SUV stays unchanged expect for the slightly better trim materials and an updated infotainment system. The latter is said to take advantage of a better graphic interface, as well as a more touch-sensitive screen. Navigation is now part of the base deal and takes traffic jams into consideration.

By default, the Honda WR-V features two airbags, climate control, a multi-function steering wheel and a reversing camera. Higher trim levels add cruise control, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, power-assisted mirrors and panoramic glass roof.

The engines have been reworked to comply with the latest environmental standards adopted in India: the BS6. As a result, customers can choose between a petrol four-cylinder with 90 hp (67 kW) and 110 Nm (82 lb-ft) and a 1.5-liter diesel rated at 100 hp (75 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft). Both come with manual transmission.

While not official, in all likelihood Honda will be updating the South American spec of the WR-V soon after the Indian one hits the market.
