Changan Auchan X5 aims at younger audiences
Changan has posted a couple of 3D renderings showing the cabin of its upcoming Auchan X5. The crossover debuted as a concept this spring and is currently well underway to production.
The interior is black with red accents, the dashboard is digital, the steering wheel squared off and the décor mostly composed of chrome inserts. In turn, the body sports narrow LED headlights, a muscular-looking hood, and a front grille with a waterfall-like pattern.
The car uses the MPA platform and its 1.5-liter turbocharged Blue Whale NE engine rated at 128 hp (95 kW).
Changan hopes that the appearance and the specs of its Auchan X5 will attract younger customers – even though no actual specs have been disclosed yet.
