This is what happens when you cross a Beetle with a Mercedes

A highly remarkable vehicle has been recently discovered at a junkyard in Germany: a unique blend between a classic Volkswagen Beetle and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W108).

Based on the two available photos, the car is a Beetle at heart, but it borrows much from the iconic S-Class, including the vertical headlights, the taillights, the bumpers and the radiator grille. The owner even had to cut the body in places to help things fit together.

The original Volkswagen Beetle, which you can see in the video, has been a crowd favorite among casual drivers and tuners for over eight decades now, so no wonder there are plenty of exotic versions out there.
