Tesla expanding its China HQ to speed up affordable model R&D

The Chinese office of Tesla is currently looking to hire a chief designer, a creative director, a copywriter, a video editor, a software department manager and a design manager. There is a teaser pic attached to the announcement.

According to it, the company wants to expedite the creation of an all-new, affordable electric car that will be designed from the ground up in China and exported from there to other markets. The hints are there that the work is far from done.

Speaking in an earlier interview (you may watch the full video version of it here), Elon Musk said the unnamed model would be priced as low as 25,000 USD or so.
