Leaked Hyundai Ioniq 5 pics suggest production side cameras

A couple fresh spy photos showing the upcoming battery-powered SUV Hyundai Ioniq 5 have made it online. Let us take a closer look at them.

Perhaps the most interesting part is that the car still has video cameras in place of side mirrors, along with displays built into its a-pillars. It looks like the manufacturer plans to release it this way.

The coupe-shaped crossover is coming in two main versions differentiated by battery size: 58 kWh and 73 kWh. The available range varies from 354 to 450 kilometers (220 – 280 miles). Sales in Europe should begin in January 2021, with the United States availability coming in summer.
