Renault announces two Morphoz-based electric SUVs
The French carmaker openly admits that the main goal of the two upcoming battery-powered SUVs will be bringing back the sales and revitalizing the struggling business.
Both cars come based on the Morphoz Concept shown in the gallery and the video here. Both will be designed similarly to the concept car and utilize the same CMF-EV chassis and tech.
The first one will be a Kadjar-sized soft-roader with all-original bodywork and a low ride height for enhanced aerodynamics. The other one will resemble the current Captur model in terms of size.
Since no further specs have been provided, let us remind that the Morphoz Concept has one unique feature: it can adjust its wheelbase length according to the selected drive and suspension mode. In Travel Mode, the wheelbase automatically stretches to 2,930 millimeters (9.61 feet), while City Mode shrinks it by 200 mm (7.8 inches).
