Rumor: 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock set to hit the off-road, hard

The fifth generation of the Ram 1500 premiered in early 2018, but its predecessor never left the assembly lines. Up to this day, the 1500 Classic is available alongside its younger sibling and even offers a special version called Warlock. A rumor that went online today says the latter would soon become much more capable away from the trodden roads.

Allegedly, the 2021MY Ram 1500 will take advantage of an option package called Warlock All-Terrain. It will include alloy wheels, Yokohama 265/70 R17 tires, a mild suspension lift, a full-fledged spare wheel, and rubber mats. It will retain the production car’s styling cues such as the body kit and grille, 20-inch wheel size and body stickers. The trim will correspond to the current Rebel spec, with LED-based fog lights and taillights. A muscular-looking hood cover with added air intakes will reportedly be available, too.

The wilderness-capable Warlock is expected to come out later this year starting from U.S. $40,000 or close to that. The currently available Ram 1500 Classic Warlock starts from $36,145 if you opt for the 3.6-liter V6 and rear-wheel drive. Should you want a 5.7-liter V8 variant instead, set aside another $1,450, or $3,600 if you want AWD.
