Lorinser comes up with a classical wheel design for 1980s-era Mercedes cars

The tuner team over at Lorinser GmbH decided to re-launch the production of a classical wheel set found on forty-year-old Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It comes in various sizes and starts at €2,188/4pcs.

Called Lorinser LO, the wheel has a monoblock construction with the outer rim put around it. It fits plenty of different vintage Mercedes cars, notably including the W123, the S123, the W201 190E, the W124/S124 (E-Class), W116/W126 (S-Class), and the R107 SL depicted here. The default size is 16x8 inches front and 16x9 inches rear, but you may specify your own dimensions when leaving an order.

The show car depicted here is actually up for grabs at Lorinser now. Aside from the LO wheels, it boasts a modernized automatic transmission and a 3.5-liter V8. It is an SLC 350 model with a cabin trim that combines leather and fabric upholstery. With 132,000 kilometers (82,000 miles) under its belt, it goes for €42,900.
