A 360-degree flat spin: What is this Kia K5 even doing!?

Kia has filmed another extreme stunt performed with its K5 sedan, showing it sprinting up the ramp and turning over completely in the air in a trick known as the flat spin.

We have no idea just what the manufacturer wanted to tell us by sending its business saloon flying, but the result is quite a sight to behold. Watch for yourself, you will be impressed.

Given that the clip emerged just before the TV broadcast of the 72nd Emmy Award, advertising was probably its main goal.

To carry out the stunt, the four-door GT Series vehicle packing 290 hp (216 kW) had to undergo serious modification. It landed with safety bars, bottom and engine protection plates, and a racecar seat for the driver along with the appropriate harnesses.
