Audi e-tron GT new pics revealed, production planned for late 2020
The all-electric Audi e-tron Gran Turismo will enter production before the year is over, the manufacturer reports. In the meantime, here are some new images showing a tastefully disguised car.
Based on the shots, the production e-tron GT still follows in the tracks of its concept version from 2018, although its front clip is no longer as aggressive, the air intakes are smaller, the door handles are conventional, and the side mirrors are larger.
Most of the body is manufactured from aluminum and high-tensile steel, while the top is made from carbon fiber.
Technical specifications aren’t quite there yet, but Audi has confirmed that the performance-laden RS e-tron GT will be premiering alongside the standard EV.
Options include a sports car sound sim and a dedicated audio system for rear passengers. You can set the car to imitate a traditional exhaust soundtrack if you want to.
