A 1996 Discontinuation Corvette goes up on sale for $27.5k

This Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport belongs to a limited run of just 810 units dedicated to the discontinuation of the C4 generation. It is 24 years old, has mere 1,126 km (700 miles) under its belt and currently goes for $27,500.

The Grand Sport version adds an Admiral Blue paintjob, a sporty white stripe, and a couple of red stripes on the front left fender.

The stock 5.7-liter V8 engine pairs up with a six-speed manual transmission to get the car from standstill to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.4 seconds before maxing out at 165 mph (266 km/h). The numbers are 330 hp (246 kW) for power and 461 Nm (340 lb-ft) of torque.

Included along with the exceptionally well-preserved car are 17-inch black OEM rims, climate and cruise controls, black leather seats with power adjustments, and a Bose audio system with a cassette/CD player.
