2021 Jaguar E-Pace hits the spotlight with major updates

Mere days ago, car spies have discovered the facelifted Jaguar E-Pace lapping up the North Loop, and today, the manufacturer reveals it in its full glory.

The British marque’s affordable SUV has received a couple of small-time updates during its three-and-a-half-year stay on the market, but the 2021 model year brings along much more than that. Exterior refinements include a radiator grille with a diamond pattern, new air intakes and LED lights, and a mesh on the rear bumper that houses the exhaust tips. The latter sport different shapes in the gasoline and the diesel versions of the car. The R-Dynamic styling package is still available, as is the black body kit.

Inside, the new Pivi Pro infotainment measures 11.4 inches across and features two SIM card slots, dual LTE modems and OTA updates. All of the above comes standard in the S, SE and HSE trims, while the entry spec lists it under optional equipment, instead offering a cheaper Pivi unit.

The steering wheel and gear selector are likewise new, there is a 12.3-inch digital dash cluster with an updated interface, assorted storage pockets, an air ionizer, and an improved 360-degree camera view system.

The main novelty comes in the guise of a state-of-the-art technological platform and engine range, which the new E-Pace shares with the latest Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque.
