Carlex re-finishes the McLaren 720S in British Racing Green

The iconic dark green livery has a history spanning back more than 100 years, all the way to England’s first illegal street races of the year 1903. Now, Carlex Design intends to produce a whole batch of cars finished in this color, and this gorgeous McLaren 720S is the latest completed work.

As you may remember, the Poland-based interior customizer showed us a similar-looking Mercedes-Benz G-Class several days ago. In our opinion, the paint suits the McLaren even better than it did the G-Wagon – possibly thanks to its British heritage. In any case, it looks opulent, and the contrasting dark grey wheels wrapped in Pirelli rubber complement it nicely.

Unsurprisingly, it is still the interior that is the biggest highlight of the project. The entire inner space is wrapped in vivid brown saddle leather and Alcantara. The luxury materials cover the entire dashboard, center console, steering wheel, doors, seats, armrests, pillars and even the ceiling. New floor mats, laser engravings and white ornamental inserts liven things up a fair bit.

If you happen to have a McLaren 720S handy, Carlex will ask for around €65,000 to have it converted into the Racing Green Edition.
