Watch two unique gold-plated Koenigseggs get together for a video
A Koenigsegg hypercar is an exceptionally rare sight as is; witnessing two of them next to each other is almost surreal, and if you consider that both sport genuine gold accents… Whoa!
The first one is a Koenigsegg Agera RS, one of only 25 units ever produced. It goes by the name “Naraya” and is the first Agera RS built for a European customer. The car debuted four years ago and received a removable hardtop along with generous gilding on the outside and inside. A plaque inside the cabin bears its name along with 155 artificial diamonds grown by U.S.-based jewelry maker Ada Diamonds. Its five-liter V8 churns out 1,176 PS (1,160 hp, or 865 kW).
The other one is a Koenigsegg Regera, one of the eighty total units made. Popular car logger Zack Lewis has waited three years to receive his bespoke coupe powered by a V8 and triple electric motors for 1,500 PS (1,479 hp, or 1,103 kW). The car looks not unlike the Naraya, but there are nuances.
The video documents the first time the two Koenigseggs got together. Each one is worth around $5,000,000.
