Honda CR-V ditches petrol powertrains in the UK

The 2021 Honda CR-V will hit the showroom floors throughout Great Britain in December, bringing along cosmetic changes and an all-hybrid lineup.

Non-hybridized engine options will no longer be available. Exterior changes will boil down to new 18-inch wheels, logos and badges. A wireless charging pad will appear in the cabin, and power steering will be tuned along with the suspension.

The electrified powertrains will stay unchanged from before. The FWD spec will still need 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour (97 km/h), and the AWD one will need 9.2 seconds. Both will max out at 180 km/h (112 mph).

The starting price will go down slightly from £30,500 to £30,180. As of right now, you can still order the crossover SUV with a 1.5-liter turbo engine from £27,270.
